Sustainable engineering firm Glumac will occupy the entire 16th floor of the Standard Insurance Building on Southwest Sixth Avenue between Taylor and Salmon streets in downtown Portland, the firm announced today. Glumac’s Portland offices are currently housed in the historic Dekum Building at Southwest Third Avenue and Washington Street.
鈥淪tandard Insurance has been an outstanding client of ours for almost twenty years,鈥澛爏aid Kirk Davis, managing principal of Glumac’s Portland office in a statement today. 鈥淲e are eager to work with them in this new capacity and collaborate with them to transform the 16th floor into a high performance office for our Portland staff.
The move comes because Glumac is growing and needs more space and because they want to create an open office floor plan to allow for more collaborative and team work.
Glumac recently opened its ninth office in Corvallis, which will be a home for educational partnerships, recruitment of Oregon State University students and work on the OSU campus.
