The Port of Vancouver USA recently hired Julie Rawls as its community relations specialist. She will help the port establish and maintain relationships with neighborhood, business and civic organizations. Her primary duties include representing the port at public meetings, delivering presentations, conducting tours, managing the port’s speakers’ bureau, and contributing to event organization. Rawls previously worked for more than 20 years in the Portland Development Commission’s public affairs and public outreach departments.
