The Washington County Department of Health and Human Services has free tools and technical assistance available for businesses in the county interested in starting recycling programs or expanding existing ones.

The county’s Solid Waste & Recycling Program offers free workplace evaluations. For a limited time, as part of a campaign, businesses that sign up for evaluations also will receive a Green Team Kit. Each kit contains reusable bags and drink tumblers, along with information about workplace recycling.
