is building a six-story mixed-use apartment project on Southeast 10th Avenue near East Burnside Street for developer . Work began in May on the 5-over-1, wood-framed structure. The building will include 62 residential units ranging in size from studios to two-bedrooms and three to four retail spaces on the ground floor.

The Vallaster Corl Architects-designed project features a green-space patio on the second floor and an outdoor barbecue/patio area on the top floor, as well as 17 parking spaces, bicycle storage, and a bike/pet wash area. The building is slated for completion in June 2015.
