Yorke & Curtis is nearing completion of 3330 Division, a four-story mixed-use building Southeast Division Street and 33rd Place. Designed by THA Architecture, the building features 30 studio and 1-bedroom apartments over three ground-floor retail spaces. The project is the last phase of a three-building development at the intersection by Urban Development Partners that contain a combined 95 residential units.
According to UDP principal Avi Ben-Zaken, the building was designed from the inside out. The apartment spaces are wide instead of long in order to maximize light and air flow. Each unit opens onto an outdoor corridor which looks down on a courtyard that will also be accessible to non-residents during daytime hours.
