The American Institute of Architects’ Portland chapter is now accepting submissions for its 2014 Design Awards.

Project submissions will be accepted until Oct. 3 at 7 a.m. for the annual competition, which is open to all AIA firms, members and associate members throughout Oregon.

Built project submissions must be completed after Oct. 3, 2009, but before Oct. 3, 2014. All unbuilt project submissions must have been undertaken after Oct. 4, 2010.

The cost for submissions is $275 for a built project and $175 for an unbuilt project.

A jury will select projects for honor, merit and citation awards. A ceremony to announce the winners will take place Nov. 7 at the Gerding Theater at the Armory, 128 N.W. 11th Ave. in Portland.
