Photos: Site work under way at Rose Villa

Crews with聽Konell Construction & Demolition Corp. are doing site work at Rose Villa, a Southeast Portland retirement community undergoing a major redevelopment by general contractor R&H Construction. Old apartment buildings on the 22-acre site have been demolished and will be replaced by cottages and urban-style apartments in two mixed-use buildings. The project was designed by Myhre Group Architects in collaboration with Lancaster, Pa.-based RLPS Architects and is slated for completion in Spring 2016.
