The Oregon Concrete & Aggregate Producers Association and the Oregon chapter of the American Concrete Institute are now accepting nominations for the 2015 Excellence in Concrete Awards. The awards, heading into their 35th year, recognize projects that feature concrete used in extensive or innovative ways.

Nomination forms and contest rules are available at www.ocapa.net/excellence-in-concrete. The deadline for submitting nominations is Jan. 31, 2015.

A panel of local professionals will judge all submitted projects, with an eye toward determining the 鈥渂est of鈥� entries in several categories, including bridges, commercial, ICF, residential, public facility, craftsmanship, transportation and industrial.

Award winners will be recognized during a banquet April 23, 2015 at the Salem Convention Center. Registration for the event will open in March or April, according to Lori Pettenger, OCAPA communications manager.
