A team planning development of the 鈥�Frog Pond Area鈥� east of Wilsonville is asking for public input on proposed plans for the 500-acre parcel surrounding the Frog Pond Grange on Southwest Stafford Road.

Three plans are proposed for the site, which is made up of dozens of tax lots owned by various people, according to Wilsonville Planning Director Chris Neamtzu.

鈥淭he consulting team is currently working on the infrastructure financing technical memorandum,鈥� Neamtzu said. 鈥淚t should be finalized in the next month.鈥�

The memo will lay out a plan for financing development of the area, he said.

The development will be largely made up of residential units, with unit density being the main difference between plans A, B and C. Option A prioritizes single-family homes and is the least housing-dense option. Plan B has an increased number of housing options, including single-family, cottages, townhomes and apartments. Option C provides a higher number of townhomes and cottages and has the most housing units of all three options, at 2,635.

Each plan contains room for an elementary school, a middle school, a 10-acre community park and space for commercial tenants.

The planning task force is made up of property owners, Wilsonville residents, planning commissioners and city councilors. The team will consider public input and make its recommendations to the City Council.

A final plan is expected to be completed by May 2015.
