A Vancouver-based real estate investment company on Monday announced that it’s developing an industrial distribution center in Northeast Portland.
Holland Partner Group has partnered with Amstar, a global real estate manager, to develop a 320,795-square-foot distribution center between Northeast Marine Drive and Cameron Boulevard, near the latter road’s intersection with 166th Avenue. Site work for the Cameron Distribution Center began in August; vertical construction will start in January 2015.
The center will have 77 docked loading doors, 116 spaces for motor vehicles and ample trailer parking, according to information from Holland Partner Group. The space also will feature 32-foot clear height, be equipped with an Early Suppression, Fast Response sprinkler system and be able to be divided into areas as small as 75,000 square feet.
It is scheduled for completion in summer 2015.
Holland Partner Group develops residential, commercial and mixed-use properties throughout the western United States, and has completed 1,200 apartment units in Hillsboro and Wilsonville. In addition to the Cameron Distribution Center, Holland Partner Group is developing 650 apartment units in the Orenco Station neighborhood in Hillsboro.
