Photos: A new look for ‘Big Pink’

A grand reopening of Unico Properties‘ U.S. Bancorp Tower took place Wednesday to celebrate the completion of a $15 million modernization of the iconic building’s lobby and atrium.
The project began in mid-2013, and included enclosing second- and third-floor spaces in floor-to-ceiling glass, creating new stairs and walkways, upgrading finishes, and enclosing a breezeway on the podium’s south side to create more leasable space. The designer of the project was GBD Architects, and the general contractor was Turner Construction.
