A former auto dealership on Southeast Foster Road in Portland is being transformed to the , a Latino marketplace and small business incubator. is serving as general contractor on the $2.4 million project, which was designed by Scott | Edwards Architecture for developer .

Work on the 6,776-square-foot building includes extensive interior demolition, sawcutting of slab for new plumbing lines, extending of parapet walls, new exterior siding, new mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems, and new exterior siding. A pod of food carts will be located on the property’s 38,000-square-foot lot, where site improvements will include landscaping and pervious pavers. The project is slated for completion in January 2015.
