Allison Pyrch, a geotechnical engineer in Hart Crowser’s Portland office, recently was named Young Engineer of the Year by the Oregon/Southwest Washington chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers. The award is given to someone age 35 or younger who has been an active member of the Oregon section for the past five years. Honorees exhibit technical competence, high character and integrity; serve to advance the profession of civil engineering; work to further the objectives of ASCE and the chapter; and contribute to public service outside of the profession.
