A four-story office building in North Portland is one of three in various stages of construction as part of the development. The East Building totals over 43,000 square feet and will feature three stories of office space over ground-floor retail. R&H Construction is serving as general contractor on the project, which was designed by Holst Architecture for developer Karuna Properties II. The project slated for completion this July.

Don Knowles, a carpenter with Fred Shearer & Sons and member of Local 146, installs a steel support for an exterior building aperture on the East Building at the One North development in North Portland.

Kevin Muller, a journeyman roofer with Snyder Roofing and member of Local 49, makes marks for cuts on a modified base sheet.

The building features three stories of timber-framed creative office space over a ground-floor concrete retail space. The entire three floors of office space have been leased by digital creative firm Instrument.
