The American Society of Architectural Illustrators is seeking entries from students for a rendering art contest offering $1,750 in prizes.

Full-time students who are members of ASAI can submit up to five images – including formal presentation renderings, sketches, study projects, drawings, paintings or computer imagery. The entry deadline for the 30th annual Architecture in Perspective competition is Feb. 9.

Entries will be judged by a jury that includes senior ASAI members. The jury will select the finest work for honoring a cross section of architectural illustrations, including drawings, paintings and digital images.

The winner of the Student Award of Excellence will receive a $1,000 prize. The winning image will be displayed in an exhibition of the top contest illustrations that will travel around the U.S. and internationally. Three Student Awards of Merit, each with a $250 prize, will be awarded too.

Contest winners will be announced this spring, and the awards will be presented at ASAI’s annual conference on Oct. 14-18 in Toronto.

The cost to enter is $10 for the first image and $5 for each additional image. To enter, students who are not already members of ASAI must join when they submit images. Membership fees for students are $25.
