A topping out ceremony was held Thursday for one of the city’s most recognizable construction projects as the final steel beam was hoisted onto the 30-story Park Avenue West tower in downtown Portland. The milestone was celebrated at Director Park by a crowd including representatives with , and , as well as Ironworkers Local 29 and anchor tenant .

The 546,000-square-foot building will feature Class A office space on its top 13 stories over another 15 stories of residential units and two floors of retail space. The project is slated for completion in early 2016.
