Design work by Portland State University architecture students will be on display next month at the Center for Architecture.
鈥Embodied States,鈥 a free show hosted by the American Institute of Architects‘ Portland chapter, will be on display at the center, 403 N.W. 11th Ave., on June 4-26. An opening reception for the exhibit is scheduled to coincide with the First Thursday art walk in the Pearl District on June 4 from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
The student design exhibition commemorates the end of the 2014-2015 school year for the PSU School of Architecture‘s undergraduate and graduate programs. The show highlights creative projects by students in both programs with an emphasis on the design theses of the architecture master’s degree students. Work on display will include hand drawings, material studies, mixed media creations and building models.
