The University of Oregon School of Architecture and Allied Arts will host next month in Portland an open house with displays of student work.

The open house will take place on June 4 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the White Stag Block, 70 N.W. Couch St. The free event is scheduled to coincide with the First Thursday art walk.

Among the open house displays will be the final thesis projects of graduate architecture students in the university’s Portland program. The exhibit, titled 鈥淰ITALIZE,鈥� will feature students’ studio projects addressing a range of issues affecting the built environment.

Student work in the exhibit includes projects from architecture professor Gerald Gast’s Soft Urban Waterfronts studio, the Willamette Falls Legacy Studio taught by John Yeon Center director Randy Gragg and Becca Cavell and Jake Freauff of THA Architecture and the (RE)Generative Architecture class taught by associate professor Hajo Neis.

Along with architecture studio projects, the open house will also include the work of students in the university’s digital arts and product design programs.
