The Beaverton School District recently announced its upcoming procurement schedule. One goal for work deriving from the $680 million bond that voters passed in 2014 is for 10 percent of the contract value for consulting services and construction contracts to go toward firms certified as minority- or woman-owned, or emerging small businesses.
Following is a list of projects, services needed and anticipated solicitation dates:
• District-wide security upgrades; design; November 2015
• District-wide auditorium upgrades; design; November 2015
• North Bethany Elementary School; construction manager-general contractor; November 2015
• Conestoga Middle School re-pipe of domestic water; design; November 2015
• Sunset High School team room addition; general contractor; November 2015
• Vose Elementary School replacement; proposed alternative procurement: qualifications/bid two-step method; December 2015
• District-wide security upgrades; general contractor; February 2016
• McKay Elementary School ADA upgrades; general contractor; March 2016
• Conestoga Middle School re-pipe of domestic water; general contractor; March 2016
• Cedar Park Middle School HVAC replacement; general contractor; March 2016
• Meadow Park Middle School HVAC replacement; general contractor; March 2016
• Maintenance facility renovation; design; July 2016
