Portland State University is preparing to offer a graduate-level, cross-disciplinary certificate in energy policy and management.
The program will focus on energy issues for students looking to hone skills for a career in the energy field, according to Loren Lutzenhiser, PSU Urban Studies and Planning professor and director of the new Certificate in Energy Policy and Management. Certification will be available for students in existing graduate programs as well as a stand-alone option for college graduates.
Applications are now being taken for winter quarter admission, and are considered on a rolling basis. Enrollment in winter classes is now open for undergraduates, graduate students and new certificate admits. Classes start Jan. 4.
Five PSU units helped devise the program: Public Administration, Urban Studies and Planning, Economics, Engineering Technology Management, and Systems Science.
