A luxury apartment building in the Pearl District has sold for $45 million to a Singapore-based company.

The deal to purchase the Janey was on hold until all 122 studio and one-bedroom units were completed. Construction of phase two concluded recently, and the deal closed on Wednesday.

Portland-based developer Columbia Investments Ltd. and Lone Wolf Investments LLC of Washougal, Wash., agreed to terms with purchaser Mapletree Group, which is partnered with U.S.-based Oakwood Worldwide.

Commercial real estate company Berkadia represented Columbia Investments and Lone Wolf Investments in the deal, which valued the building at $647 per square foot.

The first phase of the Janey, located on Northwest Everett Street between 10th and 11th avenues, was completed in 2012. The deal with Mapletree Group was negotiated with 50 of the first-phase units leased.

The Janey was designed by and built by general contractor . It features 68 parking spaces and nearly 5,000 square feet of retail space. It’s described as 鈥渉igh end,鈥 with rooftop decks, mechanized parking, sunshades, a vegetated roof and local art on the walls. The building has a Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design platinum rating.
