Oregon State University is accepting nominations for the 2016 Excellence in Family Business Awards.

The awards are designed to honor families that have done outstanding jobs managing their companies and businesses through several generations.

Any business that has at least two generations working together is eligible for the award. Nominations can be submitted in one of three categories: family harmony, generational leadership and business renewal.

Nominations can be submitted by business family members or employees, business associates, and trade and community organizations. The deadline to submit nominations is April 1, with applications due by May 1.

A panel of past winners and OSU faculty and advisers will select finalists. All finalists will be required to make a presentation in Portland on June 14. Winners and finalists will be honored during an awards event in November.
