Early assistance requests have landed for two major multifamily projects in Portland.
SERA Architects has requested advice regarding plans to build a 148-unit, six-story multifamily project at southeast 12th Avenue and Belmont Street, near the Goat Blocks.
The project would feature market-rate apartments, ground-floor retail space and basement parking. The proposed site, 909 S.E. 12th Ave., is home to Bradshaw’s Transmission Annex.
In Goose Hollow, Leeb Architects has applied for design advice related to a six-story, 81-unit apartment building proposed for 1440 S.W. Taylor St. The site is currently home to a small, one-story office building.
The apartment building would have a lobby, bike storage and a parking garage for 30 cars at ground level.
Early assistance applications – which would reveal the developer – had not been submitted by Tuesday, according to the Bureau of Development Services. A BDS staffer said pre-application conferences for these projects will take place in the near future.
