Photos: Inside downtown Portland’s newest hotel

A new boutique hotel opened last month in downtown Portland at the corner of Southwest Third Avenue and Taylor Street. The 13-story AC Hotel Portland Downtown was built on a vacant quarter-block site by design-build contractor and developer Mortenson, and SERA Architects served as the designer of the building and interiors. The $50 million project includes 204 guest rooms, a bar/lounge area, European-style breakfast kitchen and dining room, a Water Avenue Coffee bar, fitness center, and business and meeting rooms.
