ZGF Architects‘ display from the 2017 Portland Winter Light Festival is headed to the Big Apple. The firm’s festival entry, Cameo No. 3, is being featured at the 聽in Times Square through May 22. The display is part of New York City’s annual design celebration NYCxDesign.

Cameo No. 3 is part of DuPont’s Corian Display. The exhibit combines music, touch, light and social interaction to transform DuPont’s Corian material into a soft atmospheric structure. LEDs create glowing sculptures while music plays controlled by three touch-activated podiums.

The exhibit was designed by ZGF in coordination with Piano Push Play, dotdotdash and Uncorked Studios.
