The Canopy by Hilton Pearl District hotel at Northwest Ninth Avenue and Glisan Street was topped out last month. Bremik Construction is building the ZGF Architects-designed hotel for Delaware-based developer the Buccini/Pollin Group.

The building rises ten stories above grade, and will include a rooftop exercise room and eco-roof. A two-story winter garden will be built at the basement and ground floors. The ground floor will contain the lobby and a bar/restaurant, and the upper floors will each have 17 guest suites.

Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough-in work has begun on the building’s lower floors. Steel stud framing is complete up to the seventh floor, and windows are being installed up to the sixth story. The contractor will begin installing finishes by October, and project delivery is slated for April of 2018.
