鈥淲e have a long history of supporting the school through (teaching) studios,鈥 said Alec Holser, an Opsis principal and partner. 鈥淚n this case, we were interested in providing scholarships as part of the firm’s goals of increasing diversity in the industry.鈥

Scholarship recipients will be chosen from the student body at large, but students from underrepresented communities will be given special consideration.

鈥淎rchitecture is a five- or six-year program depending on how you go to school,鈥 Holser said. 鈥淲ith the price of school, we decided to start a scholarship program.鈥
