An apartment complex in Oregon City has sold for $18.75 million to a California-based investment firm.
Virtu Investments of Carlsbad, California, has closed on Barclay Village, a 146-unit apartment community. The seller, Barclay Cascade Investors LLC, lists as manager an entity in Walnut Creek, California.
The Barclay Village apartments were 97 percent occupied at the time of sale. The complex at 775 Cascade St. is located about 2 miles east of the Willamette River and downtown Oregon City.
Built in 1987, the complex is composed of 10 percent one-bedroom units and 90 percent two-bedroom units. The apartments average 989 square feet. About half of the units have received modest renovations, CBRE stated in a news release.
CBRE brokers Phil Oester, Joe Nydahl and Josh McDonald represented the seller.
Barclay Village offers covered parking, in-unit fireplaces, dishwashers and hookups for washer and dryer units. Residents can use a fitness center, a pool, and basketball and tennis courts.
Virtu Investments also owns the Broadway Place apartments in Eugene.
