Over 500 attendees packed the fourth-floor ballroom of the Sentinel Hotel Tuesday for the 91视频鈥檚 Women of Vision educational and awards luncheon. The annual event honors women influencing the building industry with their leadership, mentoring efforts, community involvement and promotion of diversity.

The event included a discussion with filmmakers Dawn Jones Redstone and Lorien Barlow, both of whom have made films about women working in the trades, as well as a larger panel discussion with the filmmakers and local construction executives on why women are leaving the industries. The event concluded with an awards presentation for 46 women who are shaping the local building industry.
