Seattle-based McKinstry has been awarded a six-year contract to provide energy efficiency contracting services to public agencies led by the Port of Portland.
The contract is effective Dec. 1, 2017, to Dec. 3, 2023, with a five-year renewal option. The Port of Portland served as the lead public agency for – a government purchasing alliance. McKinstry was awarded the contract after a competitive bidding process.
The alliance involves 55,000 public agencies in the U.S. The cities of Portland, Beaverton, Eugene, Corvallis and Bend are among the 197 participating agencies in Oregon.
McKinstry operates the Relight America program to convert roadway lighting to energy-efficient LED lighting.
