Multnomah County is asking for public input on updates to its 20-year plan for road improvements. Comments can be shared online through April 15 at .

Multnomah County is responsible for more than 300 miles of roads in unincorporated areas and major arterial roads in Fairview, Troutdale and Wood Village.聽The Roads Capital Improvement Plan will see its biggest overhaul in two decades as a result of this public input.

Periodically, the county updates the plan to address issues tied to crosswalks and traffic signals, guardrails, shoulder widths, turn lanes, bicycle and walking paths, bridge and culvert improvements and more. This year, officials are engaged in a data gathering and public involvement effort more in depth than in the past.
