Building permits issued for July 9-15

• A $1,165,590 addition permit was issued for a core-and-shell remodel of a first-floor space in the Iron Fireman building at 4644 S.E. 17th Ave. The applicant is Annie Molteni of Mackenzie, the contractor is Lorentz Bruun Co. Inc., and the owner is Iron Fireman Building LLC.

• A $6,253,027 addition permit was issued for an existing storage building at 4836 S.E. Powell Blvd., including a three-story addition at the south end of an existing building and a two-story addition within an existing building for a self-storage facility. The applicant is Stephen Curtis of Mackenzie, the contractor is Eric Gambee Construction Inc., and the owner is NWSS-Powell Storage LLC.

• A $700,000 alteration permit was issued for the remodel of a three-story retail building at 828 N. Killingsworth St. The applicant is Matthew Lillard of Baysinger Partners Architecture PC, the contractor is Fortney Contractors LLC, and the owner is Portland Community College.

• A $1,936,415 alteration permit was issued for the renovation of an existing parish center and school at 3123 N.E. 24th Ave. The applicant is Carolyn Kruger of Carleton Hart Architecture, the contractor is H&A Construction Co., and the owner is St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church Portland Oregon.

• A $6,000,00 new construction permit was issued for a three-story (plus basement) apartment building with 53 studio and one-bedroom units at 1515 N.E. 28th Ave. The applicant is David Mullens of owner UDG 28th & Halsey LLC, and the contractor is SK Hoff Construction LLC.

Building permit intakes for July 9-15

• A $1,092,680 addition permit is under review for the renovation of an existing single-story warehouse building at 2330 N.W. 31st Ave. The applicant is looking to add a 9,325-square-foot mezzanine within the 12,176-square-foot shell to create a second level for office and industrial uses. The applicant is Zac Horton of Faster Permits, the contractor is 1st Call Construction Inc., and the owner is Mark Madden.

• A $621,016 addition permit is under review for improvements to a storage building at 10415 N.E. Second Ave. to create office, restroom and storage space. The applicant is Dean Hoque of Axis Design Group, the owner is Yakima, Washington-based Richardson Land and Investment Company LLC, and the primary contractor is out to bid.

• Seven alteration permits totaling $1,093,750 are under review for removal and replacement of siding on multiple condominium buildings at 3515 S.W. Barbur Blvd. The applicant is John Gattucio of Lifetime Exteriors, the contractor is Pacific NW Construction Solutions LLC, and the owner is Association of Unit Owners of Abitar Condo.

• A $555,000 alteration permit is under review for a first-time tenant improvement and partial change of occupancy from B to A-3 at 8118 S.E. Division St. The applicant is John Flynn of Resolve Architecture and Planning, the contractor is O’Neill/Walsh Community Builders, and the owner is Rose-Jade Housing Limited Partnership.

Facility permits issued for July 9-15

• A $650,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for Rubicon on the 12th floor of the World Trade Center building at 121 S.W. Salmon St. The applicant is Alfred Bran, the contractor is Reimers & Jolivette Inc., and the owner is IEH Portland LLC.

• A $4,000,000 alteration permit was issued for tenant space and exterior work at a building at 3033 N.W. Yeon Ave. The applicant is Jennifer Kimura of VLMK Consulting Engineers, the contractor is Pacific Crest Structures Inc., and the owner is Harsch Investment Properties LLC. A $650,000 mechanical alteration permit was also issued for the project; the contractor is Willamette HVAC LLC.

• A $1,295,390 alteration permit was issued for tenant improvements for WeWork on the ninth and 13th floors of the Public Service Building at 920 S.W. Sixth Ave. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the contractor is HST Construction Inc. of Bellevue, Washington, and the owner is Public Service Building LLC.
