Drainage repairs will be performed in Troutdale on a section of road at the junction of Southeast Stark Street and South Troutdale Road between Sept. 26 and Oct. 12. Although construction is expected to impact traffic at times, both roads will remain open during the project.
The project is being carried out by general contractor Centennial Contractors Enterprises Inc. and is intended to correct a drainage problem at the driveway from Stark Street to the Skyland Plaza, about 100 feet west of the intersection with Troutdale Road. A section of the road will be re-graded, and both the driveway and a portion of sidewalk will be replaced.
Slightly north, at the northeast corner of Troutdale Road and Southeast 19th Street, a catch basin will be installed in the gutter line. A storm sewer pipe will then be installed from the new catch basin to a manhole at the northwest corner of the intersection.
