Vancouver Public Schools is to carry out expansions at two of its elementary schools.

The project, which is being designed by LSW Architects, involves adding five classrooms at Felida Elementary School and two new classrooms at Eisenhower Elementary School, in Vancouver, Washington. All work will be awarded under a single prime contract. However, contractors may choose to bid on only one school project or the other, or both as a single project.

A nonmandatory pre-bid conference will take place Oct. 25 beginning at 3:30 p.m. at Eisenhower Elementary School and then continuing at Felida Elementary School.

Bids are due by 3 p.m. on Nov. 13, and may be submitted at the Jim Parsley Administrative Center, at 2901 Falk Road in Vancouver.

This is not the only such project being carried out by Vancouver Public Schools. A pre-bid conference is set for 4 p.m. on Oct. 17 at Fruit Valley Elementary School, 3410 Fruit Valley Road in Vancouver, for a . Formal bids for that project are due by Oct. 30.
