Subcontractors are being sought to perform a wide range of work for a new multifamily development in North Portland.

General contractor Colas Construction is building the five-story wood-framed apartment building on North Williams Avenue for nonprofit developer BRIDGE Housing. The building will have approximately 72,455 square feet of space.

Ankrom Moisan Architects designed the building, which will have 61 apartments, ground-floor community space and an exterior courtyard. The residential units will have either one, two or three bedrooms. Also, parking will serve both motor vehicles and bicycles.

Colas Construction has scheduled a nonmandatory site walk and meeting for potential subcontractors at 2 p.m. on Nov. 8, at 2124-2156 N. Williams Ave. Subcontractors interested in possibly submitting bids are encouraged to visit the property to identify any potential site constraints.

All bids will be due by 3 p.m. on Dec. 6.
