The Portland Bureau of Development Services on Tuesday will host a pre-application conference for a team proposing a six-story, 211-unit apartment building.

SERA Architects is the applicant for the project, which would be built at 2135 N.W. 29th Ave., between Slabtown and Forest Park. The building would hold market-rate apartments, according to application materials submitted to the BDS, along with approximately 145 below-grade parking spaces with access from Northwest 29th Avenue. The residential units, according to drawings submitted to the BDS, would have either one or two bedrooms.

The property’s owner is Cairn Pacific, a Portland-based developer that specializes in multifamily and mixed-use projects.

The project would be subject to Portland’s inclusionary housing regulations.

The pre-application conference is set for 8:30 a.m. at BDS’ headquarters, 1900 S.W. Fourth Ave., in Portland.
