Building permits issued for Feb. 4-10

  • A $550,000 alteration permit was issued for a first-time tenant improvement for a credit union at The Union at St. Johns mixed-use building at 8205 N. Lombard St. The applicant is Marisa O’Gorman of Bainbridge, the contractor is Team Construction, and the owner is St John-4 LLC.
  • A $1,669,398 new construction permit was issued for the Oregon Harbor of Hope short-term shelter and navigation space at 1111 N.W. Naito Parkway. The applicant is Lauren Loosveldt of Opsis Architecture, the contractor is Deacon, and the owner is the city of Portland. A $60,000 new construction permit was also issued for an accessory structure to be used as a trash enclosure, maintenance and storage area.
  • A $680,000 new construction permit was issued on deferred submittal for post-tensioned concrete at Raleigh 22 – a six-story, 173-unit mixed-use building developed by Cairn Pacific at 2222 N.W. Raleigh St. The applicant is Jake Gustafson of contractor R&H Construction, and the owner is 2222 Raleigh LLC of San Mateo, California.
  • Four new construction permits valued at a total of $856,708 were issued on deferred submittal for three post-tensioned decks and HVAC seismic work on Mill Creek Residential Trust’s Modera Glisan project at 1430 N.W. Hoyt St. The applicant is Dustin Simonis of contractor MCRT PNW Construction LLC, and the owner is Glisan Apartments LLC.
  • A $15,130,922 new construction permit was issued for the 12-story, 197-room Moxy Hotel at 585 S.W. 10th Ave. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the contractor is Balfour Beatty Construction, and the owner is L-63 LLC.
  • A $529,426 new construction permit was issued on deferred submittal for cold-formed metal framing on a parking garage under construction as part of the Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center project at 1075 N.E. Second Ave. The applicant is Anthony Martinez of contractor Mortenson, and the owner is Prosper Portland.

Building permit intakes for Feb. 4-10

  • A $962,393 new construction permit is under review for a three-story, 11-unit apartment building at 7433 N. Chicago Ave. A second permit valued at $1,020,751 is also under review for a three-story, 12-unit building at the same address. The applicant is Ryan Pickrel of Faster Permits, the contractor is Elliott Properties Inc., and the owner is Jessonny Holdings LLC.
  • A $3,739,986 new construction permit is under review for a three-story office building at 2045 N. Vancouver Ave. The applicant is Nathan Arnold of Faster Permits, the contractor is O’Neill/Walsh Community Builders, and the owner is 2045 N Vancouver LLC.
  • Two new construction permits are under review for single-story industrial buildings on unimproved parcels on Northeast 150th Court and Mason Street. One permit valued at $3,939,486 is for a 51,618-square-foot shell building, and the other, valued at $3,812,795, is for a 49,958-square-foot shell building. The applicant is Teresa Long of AAI Engineering Inc., and the contractor is Cornice Construction LLC. The owner for the $3.9 million permit is Tri-State Construction Inc. of Bellevue, Washington, and the owner for the $3.8 million permit is Phelan Development Co. of Newport Beach, California.

Facility permits issued for Feb. 4-10

  • A $516,393 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for Legacy Transplant Services Clinic at 1130 N.W. 22nd Ave. The applicant is Jan Eckelman of ZGF Architects, the contractor is Lease Crutcher Lewis, and the owner is Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center.

Facility permit intakes for Feb. 4-10

  • An $11,500,000 alteration permit is under review for a third-floor tenant improvement at the OHSU Center for Health & Healing at 3303 S.W. Bond Ave. The applicant is Sean Ingersoll of PKA Architects, the contractor is Hoffman Construction, and the owner is Oregon Health & Science University. A $2,043,057 mechanical alteration permit is also under review for the project; the contractor is Temp Control Mechanical.
  • A $4,000,000 alteration permit is under review for first- and second-floor tenant improvement work at the Leland James building at 2175 N.W. Raleigh St. The applicant is Daniel Casey of Los Angeles, the contractor is Shawmut Woodworking & Supply Inc. of Boston, and the owner is LJC Slabtown LLC. A $500,000 mechanical alteration permit is also under review for the project; the contractor is American Heating Inc.
  • A $1,200,000 alteration permit is under review for tenant improvements to Providence Park at 1844 S.W. Morrison St., including restroom and concession remodels. The applicant is Josh Peterson of GBD Architects, the contractor is James E John Construction Co., and the owner is the city of Portland.
  • A $730,000 alteration permit is under review for infrastructure upgrades to portions of OHSU Hospital at 3181 S.W. Sam Jackson Park Road. The applicant is Lori Kellow of Ankrom Moisan Architects, the contractor is Skanska USA Building, and the owner is the state of Oregon. A $300,000 mechanical alteration permit is also under review for the project; the contractor is Arctic Sheet Metal.
