  • Early assistance is pending for a mixed-use building with 269 apartment units and 10,000 square feet of retail space at 8205 S.W. Barbur Blvd. Currently, the site is occupied by a party rental business. The applicant is Derek Marty of DJM Development, and the owners are Barbur Blvd Rentals Inc., Richard Edwards and Scott Edwards.
  • Early assistance is pending for a six-unit addition to an existing triplex at 1306 N. Prescott St. The building will contain three ground-floor studio apartments and three two-story, two-bedroom apartments above. The applicant is Brannon Soens of Fieldwork Designs, and the owner is Scott Coe.
  • Early assistance is pending for a record of survey/property line adjustment to separate a 0.63-acre parcel at 7815 N. Wabash Ave. into eight lots with a public street. The applicant is Mark Dane of Mark Dane Planning, and the owners are Don and Keri Wilkinson.
  • Early assistance is sought for the PAE Living Building – a five-story, 54,000-square-foot office building planned at the northwest corner of Southwest First Avenue and Pine Street. The building will house PAE’s Portland office and other tenants, and have ground-floor retail space. The main purpose of the early assistance meeting is to determine Portland Bureau of Transportation requirements and how they could affect other bureaus’ requirements or the zoning code. The applicant is Milena Di Tomaso of ZGF Architects, and the owner is L-126 LLC, which is registered to limited liability corporations owned by Greg and Mark Goodman of Downtown Development Group.
  • Early assistance is sought for a tenant improvement for an existing warehouse at 66 S.E. Madison St. The project would create two spaces – one for a visitor parking area and one for retail space, including built-in-place food pods, a seating area, a common-use dishwasher station and restrooms. The applicant is Zac Horton of Faster Permits, and the owner is Pascuzzi Family LLC, which is registered to Pasquale Pascuzzi.
  • Early assistance is sought for development of two separate sites – one interim, one permanent – to house Portland Boathouse and its various river-dependent programs and activities, at 306 S.E. Ivon St. The applicant is Patrick Quinton, and the owner is OSB2LAN Ivon LLC, which is registered to Haithem Toulan. In 2014, the owner was exploring development of a $12 million high-end auto garage on the nearly 3-acre riverfront site.
  • A pre-application conference is sought for relocation of De La Salle North High School to the existing St. Charles Church facility at 4317 N.E. Emerson St., and the addition onto the site of an approximately 20,000-square-foot building. The applicant is Oscar Leong of De La Salle North Catholic High School, and the owner is St. Charles Catholic Church Portland Oregon.
  • A pre-application conference is sought for creation of a new single-story retail building at 1111 N.W. 23rd Ave. by renovating two existing buildings for miscellaneous retail tenants. The project would include a new enlarged storefront, unreinforced masonry mitigation, upgraded services and addition of sprinklers. The applicant is Seth Garey of C.E. John Properties 71 LLC, and the owner is Doris Merrill.
  • A pre-application conference is sought for a comprehensive plan map amendment and zone change for the Louis Dreyfus Commodities grain terminal facility on the Willamette River at 900 N. Thunderbird Way. The applicant seeks a comprehensive plan map amendment from IS (Industrial Sanctuary) to CX (Central Commercial), and a zoning change from IG1 (General Industrial 1) to CX. The applicant is Christe White of Radler White Parks & Alexander LLP, and the owner is LD Commodities Northwest Facilities LLC of Wilton, Connecticut.
