Building permits issued for March 25-31

• A $661,283 addition permit was issued for improvements to a warehouse building at 722 S.E. 10^th Ave., including a tenant improvement for an indoor food car pod and addition of a mezzanine. The applicant is Amy Provost of Merryman Barnes Architects, the contractor is Suh & Son Mechanical LLC, and the owner is Best Partners Group LLC.

• A $4,094,461 addition permit was issued for modifications to areas adjacent to P1/P2 for a new on-grade connector, which will connect the existing south tunnel to the grade at Portland International Airport, 7000 N.E. Airport Way. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the contractor is JE Dunn Construction, and the owner is the Port of Portland.

• A $611,040 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for a new tenant with retail space and a wine bar at the Hotel Eastlund at 1021 N.E. Grand Ave. The applicant is Phil Roberson of Holst Architecture, the contractor is Pacific Crest Construction Inc., and the owner is Grand Ventures Eastlund Hotel LLC.

• A $600,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for a new tenant in the retail space at Director Park, 877 S.W. Taylor St. The applicant is Emily Phillips of IA Interior Architects, the contractor is Lease Crutcher Lewis, and the owner is the city of Portland.

• A $910,000 new construction permit was issued for a three-story, 14-unit mixed-use building with ground-floor retail space at 1515 N. Rosa Parks Way. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the contractor is Structure Redevelopment LLC, and the owner is Afoofoo LLC.

• Three new construction permits with a combined value of $1,390,860 were issued for three of four buildings at a new multifamily residential project on Northeast 42^nd Avenue. The permits are for two four-unit buildings, at 6432 and 6440 N.E. 42^nd Ave., and an eight-unit building at 6434 N.E. 42^nd Ave. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the contractor is Grand + Benedeicts Construction, and the owner is Fernhill Crossing LLC.

• A $4,560,000 new construction permit was issued for improvements to Leach Botanical Garden at 6550 S.E. 122^nd Ave., including a new tree walk, entry gate fencing, walkways, and parking lots. A separate permit valued at $125,000 was also issued for a CMU restroom structure. The applicant is Ross Swanson of Portland Parks & Recreation, and the owner is the city of Portland. No contractor is listed for the project.

• A $13,194,343 new construction permit is under inspection for a new three-story self-storage building at 6191 S.E. Powell Blvd. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the contractor is Perlo Construction, and the owner is LG Powell Storage LLC of Dallas, Texas.

Building permit intakes for March 25-31

• A $1,350,000 new construction permit is under review for a loading facility with three loading bays and a trash enclosure at the Adidas campus at 5060 N. Greeley Ave. The applicant is David Remos of Adidas Group, the contractor is Turner Construction Co., and the owner is Adidas Village Corporation.
  

Facility permits issued for March 25-31

• A $1,400,000 alteration permit and a $650,000 mechanical alteration permit were issued for improvements to the 12^th floor and roof of a state office building at 800 N.E. Oregon St. The applicant is James Mason of contractor DSL Builders, and the owner is the Oregon Department of Administrative Services.

• An $8,683,411 alteration permit was issued for improvements to Rigler Elementary School at 5401 N.E. Prescott St. The applicant is Nicholas Sukkau of Portland Public Schools, and the contractor is 2KG Contractors Inc. A $292,028 mechanical alteration permit was also issued for the project; the contractor is Robert Lloyd Sheet Metal Inc.

• A $543,900 mechanical alteration permit was issued for penthouse HVAC upgrades for a Daimler facility at 4747 N. Channel Ave. The applicant is Geoff Jenks of contractor Streimer Sheet Metal Works Inc., and the owner is Port of Portland (Leased Daimler Trucks NA LLC).

• A $1,200,000 addition permit was issued for a revision to the Multnomah County Central Courthouse project at 1200 S.W. First Ave. The applicant is Mark Kogut of SRG Partnership, the contractor is Hoffman Construction, and the owner is Multnomah County.
  

Facility permit intakes for March 25-31

• A $600,000 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement to a pharmacy at the Shriners Hospital for Children at 3101 S.W. Sam Jackson Park Road. A $450,000 mechanical alteration permit is also under review for the project. The applicant is Jim Dean of Shriners Hospital, the owner is the state of Oregon, and the primary contractor is out to bid.

• A $951,000 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement for a pharmacy at Providence Portland Medical Center at 4805 N.E. Glisan St. The applicant is Joseph Webb of owner Providence Health Services-Oregon, and the contractor is Fortis Construction. A $180,000 mechanical alteration permit is also under review for the project; the contractor is Harder Mechanical Contractors.

• A $1,047,000 alteration permit is under review for a pharmacy tenant improvement at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center at 2801 N. Gantenbein Ave. A $400,000 mechanical alteration permit is also sought for the project. The applicant is Marcelo Cardenas of PKA Architects, the owner is Irving, Texas-based Emanuel Hospital, and the primary contractor is out to bid.
