Building permits issued for May 13-19

• A $59,459,485 addition permit was issued for construction of a five-story core-and-shell building with two stories of structured parking below at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, at 2835 N. Kerby Ave. The project is part of a $210 million expansion that also includes the renovation of 80,000 square feet of existing space. The applicant is Michael Ward of Seattle-based NBBJ Architects, the contractor is Andersen Construction, and the owner is Legacy Emanuel Hospital Health Center.

• A $2,278,000 alteration permit was issued for the complete replacement of existing piping at the Celio Apartments tower at 901 S.W. King Ave. The applicant is Jessica Lozano of contractor Alliant Systems, and the owner is King Tower Holdings LLC.

• Three alteration permits with a combined value of $555,000, all submitted under deferred submittal, are under inspection for improvements associated with a tenant improvement to the Apple Store at 450 S.W. Yamhill St. The scope of work includes avenue framing and stone fa莽ade supports at the interior, a video wall, and seismic work for metal storage shelving. • A $72,000,000 new construction permit was issued for the 4th and Montgomery building, a 戮-block, seven-story mixed-use building that will house classrooms and offices for Portland State University, Oregon Health & Science University, Portland Community College and the city of Portland, at 1810 S.W. Fifth Ave. The applicant is Eric Wilson of SRG Partnership, the contractor is Andersen Construction, and the owner is the Portland State University Campus Planning Office.

• A $1,665,975 new construction permit is under inspection for a new single-story retail building and parking lot at 8145 S.E. 17th Ave. The applicant is Nick Wecker of Kent, Washington-based Barghausen Consulting Engineers Inc., the owners are MSE LLC of Lake Oswego and 17th Ave LLC of Ketchum, Idaho, and the primary contractor is out to bid.

Jefferson St. that serves as an accessory structure connected to the Wells Fargo Tower. The applicant is Devon Renard of contractor Turner Construction Co., and the owner is Sof-Xi WFP Owner LLC of Greenwich, Connecticut.

• A $612,993 alteration permit is under review for a change of occupancy for a new tenant at 1100 N.E. Weidler St. The applicant is Zac Horton of Faster Permits, the contractor is P&C Construction, and the owner is TMT Lloyd Retail Inc. of San Francisco.

• A $2,385,000 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement for a new tenant at The Hopper building at 2000 N.W. Facility permit intakes for May 13-19

• Two alteration permits with a combined value of $2,071,154 are under review for improvements to the Goat Blocks building at 1020 S.E. 10th Ave. Permitted work, both for 鈥淕lobal 3.0鈥� on the building鈥檚 first floor, includes demolition and erection of new walls for offices, an employee lounge, a fitting room, conference and break rooms, as well as 10-foot-high racking for apparel storage in four stock rooms.
