Building permits issued for May 27-June 2

  • Four new construction permits with a combined value of $1,609,360 were issued for a 12-unit multifamily development consisting of four three-story buildings with three units each at 2000 S.E. Tacoma St. The applicant is Michelle Shaheen of Works Progress Architecture, the contractor is Lorentz Bruun Co., and the owners are James Mast and Jessie Fan.
  • A $1,500,567 new construction permit was issued for a 12-unit affordable housing building at 8120 N. Interstate Ave. The building could have three stories and a partial fourth story, and would be one of two erected at the site. The applicant is Ray Culi of R&B Design Studio, and the contractor is Habitat for Humanity Metro Portland/Metro East.
  • A $17,000,000 new construction permit is under inspection for a seven-story mixed-use building at 5620 N. Interstate Ave. The building would consist of five stories of wood-framed construction over two stories of post-tensioned concrete, and contain six levels of residential units over one level of amenity space. The applicant is Alex Porter of Works Progress Architecture, the contractor is R&H Residential Construction Co., and the owner is Denise Johnson.

Building permit intakes for May 27-June 2

  • A $709,115 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement for levels three through five of Key Development’s Block 76 West development at 365 N.E. Couch St. The applicant is Jill Asselineau of Skylab Architecture, the owner is Block 76 LLC, and the primary contractor is out to bid.
  • A $2,790,000 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement to add a demising wall and a delivery package sorting system in an industrial building at 15000 N. Lombard St. The applicant is Nathan Arnold of Faster Permits, the owner is Port of Portland (Leased Rivergate V Associates LLC) of Dallas, Texas, and the primary contractor is out to bid.
  • A $2,548,077 new construction permit is under review for a tilt-up building with an interior tenant improvement on a parcel at 4901 S./N.E. 18th Drive. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the contractor is 2KG Contractors Inc., and the owner is Rose City Development Inc.

Facility permits issued for May 27-June 2

  • A $3,250,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement to the Hatfield Hall roof at 1111 S.W. Broadway. The applicant is Nancy Strening of Metro, the contractor is Pacificmark Construction, and the owner is the city of Portland.
  • A $500,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for Columbia Bank on the first and second floors of the Fox Tower at 805 S.W. Broadway. The applicant is Kaci Mespelt of Ankrom Moisan Architects, the contractor is Johnson Project Solutions Inc., and the owner is Fox Tower LLC.

  • A $586,600 alteration permit is under review for a Genentech PDX Access Solutions center on the 12th through 14th floors of the Lloyd Center Tower at 825 N.E. Multnomah St. The applicant is Joseph Storr of FFA Architecture + Interiors, the contractor is Swinerton Builders, and the owner is Pacificorp.
  • A $1,000,000 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement on the 11th, 12th, 14th and 15th floors of Portland State University’s Ondine residence hall at 1912 S.W. Sixth Ave. The applicant is Mark Fuji of PSU, the owner is the Oregon State Board of Higher Education Campus Planning Office, and the primary contractor is out to bid.
