Building permits issued for June 10-16

• A $1,100,000 addition permit was issued for an addition and renovation to the lobby of the southwest corner of the Moda Tower at 601 S.W. Second Ave. The work will add 517 square feet and a new vestibule and storefront to the lobby on the building’s southwest corner, as well as signage and changes to interior finishes. The applicant is Clare Goddard of Ankrom Moisan Architects, the contractor is Fortis Construction, and the owner is Unico Properties.

• A $586,957 alteration permit was issued for reroofing a portion of the Montavilla Community Center at 8219 N.E. Glisan St. The applicant is Wade Vorley of Seattle-based Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, the contractor is Fulcrum Construction and Building Services, and the owner is the city of Portland.

• A $650,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement at 1308 N.W. Everett St. The applicant is Nathan Arnold of Faster Permits, the contractor is R&H Construction, and the owner is Downtown Self Storage LLC.

• A $1,500,000 alteration permit was issued for seismic upgrades and a roofing replacement to a Portland State University building at 2136 S.W. Fifth Ave. The applicant is Mark Fuji of Portland State University, the contractor is Andersen Construction Co., and the owner is the state of Oregon.

• An $843,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement to include retail and a pharmacy on the ground floor of The Collective on 4th building at 345 S.W. Harrison St. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the contractor is Dayton, Ohio-based GLR Inc., and the owner is Fourth & Harrison LLC.

• A $600,000 new construction permit was issued for construction of a single-story non-conditioned pavilion at 3823 N.E. Glisan St. The applicant is Mark DiLoreto of Planning Solutions Inc., the contractor is Reilly Signature Homes, and the owner is All Saints Catholic Church Portland Oregon.

• A $660,000 new construction permit was issued for construction of a new foundation for modular classrooms and associated site work at Maplewood Elementary School, at 7452 S.W. 52nd Ave. The applicant is Amanda Petretti of Studio Petretti Architecture, the contractor is Ross Builders Northwest, and the owner is Portland Public Schools.

• A $10,159,563 new construction permit was issued for one of two new storage buildings at 8017 N.E. Alberta St. The building will include a manager’s office and residence. The applicant is Andisheh Afghan of AAI Engineering, the contractor is Perlo Construction, and the owner is GS Alberta LLC of Houston, Texas. A separate permit, valued at $631,750, was issued for construction of a second single-story building. The applicant and owner are the same, and the contractors are Gohman Mechanical Inc. and Perlo Construction.

• A $9,767,095 alteration permit is under review for a roof-mounted solar photovoltaic array on a Reed College building at 5390 S.E. 28th Ave. The applicant is Katie Martin of contractor Imagine Energy, and the owner is The Reed Institute.

• An $850,000 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement for a bank at 1715 N.E. 33rd Ave. The applicant is Terry Kim of Ankrom Moisan Architects’ Seattle office, the owner is 33Broadway Partners LLC, and the primary contractor is out to bid.

• A $1,000,000 alteration permit is under review for temporary improvements to accommodate ground-loading aircraft at Concourse C of Portland International Airport. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the contractor is Hoffman Skanska LLC, and the owner is the Port of Portland.

• A $625,000 new construction permit submitted on deferred submittal is under review for work on a seven-story mixed-use building at 5620 N. Interstate Ave. The applicant is Hayden Doud of contractor R&H Construction, and the owner is Crea Cep Nomad LLC.

• A $1,380,000 new construction permit is under review for a three-story, 18-unit multifamily building at 7156 N. Greenwich Ave., Unit A. The applicant is Gene Bolante of Studio 3 Architecture, the contractor is BTS Homes Inc., and the owner is Lucid Ventures Inc.

• A $747,261 new construction permit is under review for a three-story, 12-unit apartment building on the 7700 block of Southeast Mitchell Street. The applicant is Bob Schatz of Allusa Architecture, the contractor is Chalet Homes, and the owner is AAV One LLC.

• A $16,000,000 new construction permit is under review for a five-story, 140-unit mixed-use building with basement parking at 1336 E. Burnside St. The applicant is David Mullens of contractor SK Hoff Construction, and the owner is UDG 14th & Burnside LLC.

• An $841,815 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for a catheterization laboratory tenant improvement at OHSU University Hospital at 3181 S.W. Sam Jackson Park Road, Building OHS. The applicant is Michelle Donohue of Ankrom Moisan, the contractor is Fortis Construction, and the owner is the Oregon State Board of Higher Education.

• A $1,050,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for Airbnb on the second floor of the 38 Davis building at 38 N.W. Davis St. The applicant is Isaac Adams of Bora Architects, the contractor is Fortis Construction, and the owner is UCP 38 Davis LLC.

• A $5,000,000 alteration permit was issued for tenant improvements to the Rome/Yellow Building at the Adidas campus at 5060 N. Greeley Ave. The applicant is Anne Karel of Interior Architects, the contractor is Turner Construction Co., and the owner is Adidas Village Corporation. An $800,000 mechanical alteration permit was also issued for the project.

• A $525,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for Holst Architecture offices on the third floor of the Eastside Exchange building at 123 N.E.
