Building permits issued for July 1-7

• A $1,000,000 new construction permit was issued on deferred submittal for concrete slabs on The Canyons – a mixed-use building with a senior living focus at 3450 N. Williams Ave. The applicant is Jack Beard of contractor R&H Construction, and the owner is PDX Canyons LLC.

• A $7,971,960 new construction permit was issued for the shell of a new single-story storage building with on-site parking, a retaining wall and a pedestrian path with bridges on a wetland, at 15250 N.E. Airport Way. The applicant is Michael Terpner of Mackenzie, the contractor is Sierra Construction, and the owner is Mary Maes of Prologis LP.

Building permit intakes for July 1-7

• A $1,100,000 new construction permit is under review for a new four-story, 18-unit mixed-use building with ground-floor retail space at 1901 N. Killingsworth St. The applicant is Raphael Goodblatt of Ahha Architect Inc., the owners are RWK LLC and Ron Wagner, and the primary contractor is out to bid.

Facility permits issued for July 1-7

• A $1,943,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for Duffy Kekel on the 25th floor of the Standard Insurance Center at 900 S.W. Fifth Ave. The applicant is Kate Stuart of GBD Architects, the contractor is Walsh Construction Co., and the owner is Standard Insurance Co.

• An $850,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for the U.S. Agriculture Department’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service at 6035 N.E. 78th Court. The applicant is Brianna Smeds of PKA Architects, the contractor is Perlo Construction and the owner is 78th Court 3S LLC.

• A $2,600,000 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement for CBRE in suite 3500 of the Wells Fargo Center at 1300 S.W. Fifth Ave. The applicant is Kevin Hughes, the contractor is Turner Construction Co., and the owner is SOF-XI WFP Owner LLC of Greenwich, Connecticut.
