North Santiam Paving’s Sipos elected to Asphalt Pavement Association board

CONSTRUCTION

Pete Sipos, vice president of North Santiam Paving Co., has been elected board president of the Asphalt Pavement Association of Oregon (APAO) for 2020. This will be Sipos鈥� second term as president during 10 years as a board member. APAO has many goals for this year; some include: improving work zone safety standards and practices, providing training to asphalt pavement technicians and crews, ensuring the industry improves how it combats mental illness and suicide, and working with educators to inform young people of construction career opportunities.
