The sale of a Lake Oswego commercial property in the weeks before the COVID-19 shutdown produced a tidy profit for a seller that owned the property for fewer than 18 months.
King Capital Investments LLC, which is registered to local entrepreneur, real estate investor and Steviva Brands magnate Thom King, sold the Lake Oswego Executive Park in late February for $7.25 million. The company had acquired the property in September 2018 for $6 million.
The three-building, 37,197-square-foot flex industrial business park is located on 2.26 acres at 5755-5795 Jean Road. The new owner is local real estate investment company Diamond J Investments LLC, which is managed by Bradley Johnson of Molalla.
Both the buyer and the seller were represented by Kidder Mathews commercial brokers Zach Francis and Karla Hansen.
The sale 鈥渋s a prime example of the burgeoning investment market in the Portland-metropolitan area pre-COVID-19,鈥 Francis stated in a press release. 鈥淚n a short period, we were able to produce a seven-figure profit for the seller while also satisfying the buyer’s goals and objectives in the transaction.鈥
