Building permits issued for June 29-July 5, 2020

  • None for any project greater than $500,000.

Building permit intakes for June 29-July 5, 2020

  • A $734,469 new construction permit is under review for a three-story, 10-unit apartment building with ground-floor retail space at 5024 N.E. Fremont St. The applicant is Bradlee Hersey of Faster Permits, the contractor is Caffall Construction Co., and the owner is Fremont Street Project LLC.

Facility permits issued for June 29-July 5, 2020

  • A $3,786,495 alteration permit was issued for improvements to the Ockley Green Middle School campus at 1315 N. Ainsworth St. The project will include a new roof, new skylights and fall protection, remodels of select bathrooms, replacement of guardrails, ceilings, flooring, finishes, plumbing and electrical systems. The applicant is Nicholas Sukkau of owner Portland Public Schools, and the contractor is Building Resources Inc. of Garden City, Idaho. A $124,350 mechanical alteration permit was also issued for the project; the contractor is Caliber Plumbing and Mechanical Services.
  • A $1,900,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for Brown and Brown in Suite 1200 of the Moda Tower at 601 S.W. Second Ave. The applicant is Beth Lundgreen of Mackenzie, the contractor is Fortis Construction, and the owner is SVF Unico Portland II LLC of Seattle.
  • A $2,787,651 alteration permit was issued for improvements to the Harrison Park School at 2225 S.E. 87th Ave. The project will include a new roof, remodels of select bathrooms, new mezzanine stair guardrails, ceiling, flooring, finishes, plumbing and electrical systems. The applicant is Nicholas Sukkau of owner Portland Public Schools, and the contractor is Skyward Construction. A $61,500 mechanical alteration permit was also issued for the project; the contractor is Apex Mechanical.
