Building permits issued for Sept. 21-27, 2020

  • A $20 million alteration permit was issued for tenant improvements of the upper three floors at the Portland International Airport rental car center building. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the owner is the Port of Portland and J.E. Dunn Construction Co. is the contractor.
  • A $529,440 alteration permit was issued for tenant improvements at 1601 N. Columbia Blvd. Work includes demolition and reconfiguration of partition walls and staircases and new restrooms. The applicant is Max Plukchi of Lenity Architecture, the owner is N. Columbia Blvd. LLC of Tualatin and the primary contractor is to bid.

Building permit intakes for Sept. 21-27, 2020

  • A $650,000 permit is under review for tenant improvements at 1120 S.E. Madison St. Work includes demolition of walls and new walls, stairs and concrete topping slab. The applicant is Sean Barnett of Polymath Studio Architecture, the owner is Madave LLC of Portland and the contractor is NWC Nick Weitzer CO LLC.
  • An $850,000 permit is under review for tenant improvements at Franz Bakery, 340 N.E. 11th Ave., to replace two bread dough mixers and add an electrical transformer. The applicant is Wade Younie of DCI Engineers, the owner is United States Bakery of Seattle and the contractor is to bid.
  • A $1 million permit is under review to install 16 100-foot light poles at 6301 N. Marine Dr. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the owner is the Port of Portland and the primary contractor is to bid. The port has a separate $300,000 permit to install 10 light poles at 11040 N. Lombard St.
  • A $4.8 million new construction permit is under review for the window wall system at Art Tower, 1510 S.W. Alder St. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the owner is REEP-WP Art Tower JV LLC and the contractor is Michael Carrigg of Andersen Construction.
  • A $2.1 million permit is under review for a new warehouse and office building on Northeast 80th Avenue. An exact address was not given. Ryan Pickrel of Faster Permits is the applicant, 3BGOZF Owner of Portland is the owner and Walen Construction LLC of Beaverton is the contractor.

Facility permit intakes for Sept. 21-27, 2020

A $1.75 million alteration permit is being considered for tenant relocation and related work at Portland International Airport’s Terminal Six. Work includes remodeling the Hollywood Theatre, new storefronts, offices, walls, break rooms, ceiling, flooring and finishes. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the owner is the Port of Portland and the contractor is Interior Exterior Specialist LLC of Scotts Mills.
