Building permits issued for Sept. 28-Oct. 4, 2020

• A $1,475,233 permit is being inspected for work involving open web steel joists and girders at 12333 N. Rivergate Blvd. The applicant is Jacob Klein of Perlo Construction, which is also the contractor. The Port of Portland is the owner.

• An $800,000 permit was issued for metal grating at 2835 N. Kerby Ave. The applicant is Jonathan Larson of Andersen Construction, the contractor is Kevin Larkin of Andersen Construction, and the owner is Legacy Emanuel Hospital and Health Center.

• A $2.8 million alteration permit was issued for a build-out to suit a first-time tenant at 575 S.E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Work on floors one through three includes partition walls to create offices and meeting spaces. The applicant is Nathan Arnold of Faster Permits, the owner is PMC Building LLC of Portland, and the contractor is Arco Murray National Construction Co. of Downers Grove, Ill.

• A $2.8 million alteration permit is under review for a stormwater treatment system to meet Tier II DEQ standards at 7201 N. Marine Drive. Mike Coyle of Faster Permits is the applicant, the owner is the Port of Portland, and the primary contractor is out to bid.

• A $1.8 million new construction permit is being reviewed for a three-story, 19-unit apartment building with bike storage and a recreation room on Northeast Grand Avenue. An exact address was not given. The applicant is Edward Radulescu of EPR Design LLC, the owner is Modern Homes LLC of Portland, and the contractor is Modern Northwest Inc.

• An $885,843 permit is under review to build a three-story, 15-unit apartment structure at 6115 N.E. Multnomah Blvd. Bayard Mentrum of Mentrum Architecture in Salem is the applicant, North Tabor Properties LLC of Portland is the owner, and Robert Cushman of RMW Development Inc. is the contractor.

• A $1.6 million permit was issued for tenant improvements at 110 S.W. Yamhill St. Work includes a first-floor entrance, new office space, a work room, a café area, a ceiling, flooring and finishes. The applicant is Sherrill Johnson of DLR Group. The owner is B13 Investors LLC of Portland, and the contractor is Fortis Construction Inc.

• A $6,154,675 permit was issued for tenant improvements at an Amazon fulfillment center, at 15000 N. Lombard St. The northwest quadrant improvements include walls to create a new break room, bathrooms, locker room and more. The applicant is Christine Peterson of B.L. Companies in Meridian, Conn., the owner is the Port of Portland (leased to Rivergate V Associates LLC of Dallas, Texas), and the contractor is The Renaissance Companies Inc. of Scottsdale, Ariz. A separate mechanical permit valued at $663,320 was also issued with Heinz Mechanical Industries Inc. of Clackamas serving as contractor.

• A $3.1 million permit was issued for tenant improvements at Target, at 600 S.W. 10th Ave. Work includes a new Starbucks area, exchange and return area, coolers, freezers, conference room and more. Trish Fernweh of MG2 in Seattle is the applicant, UPG Galleria Property Owner LLC of Seattle is the owner, and James Aarhus of Skanska Building USA Inc. is the contractor. A separate mechanical permit valued at $325,000 was also issued, with American Heating Inc. of Portland listed as contractor.

• A $750,000 alteration permit was issued for Cash App tenant improvements including partitions and glazing on floors nine, 10 and 11 at 400 S.W. Sixth Ave. The applicant is Jenny Bergren of Fortis Construction and the owner is Portland 400 Sixth LLC of Foster City, Calif.

• A $1,736,400 alteration permit is being reviewed for landlord work at 915 S.W. Harvey Milk St. Work includes a meeting room, a wellness room and a restroom.
