Building permits issued for Oct. 26-Nov. 1, 2020

  • A $23.5 million new construction permit was issued for a Portland Housing Bureau building at 11560 S.E. Division St. Also, a $36,391 permit was issued for assembly and a $27,345 permit was issued for storage. The project is a four-story building with 138 affordable housing units, surface parking and associated site work. The applicants are Laurie Linville-Gregston of Ankrom Moisan Architects and Suzanne Zuniga of the Portland Housing Bureau, the owners are Kyung and Eung Lee of West Linn, and the contractor is Tom Mitchell of Walsh Construction Co.
  • A $4,799,400 new construction permit was issued for a window wall system at Art Tower, 1510 S.W. Alder St. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the owner is REEP-WP Art Tower JV LLC, and the contractor is Michael Carrigg of Andersen Construction Co. of Oregon LLC.
  • A $1.5 million permit was issued for renovation of an existing warehouse building at 5001 N. Columbia Blvd. for the city’s Bureau of Environmental Services. A separate $750,000 permit was issued to update an existing storage building at the same location as part of a BES project to upgrade the Columbia Boulevard Wastewater Treatment Plant. Julietta Randles at BES is the applicant, and the city of Portland is the owner. Kiewit Infrastructure West Co. is the contractor for the storage building work.
  • A $900,000 permit was issued to replace the metal roof and structural support of a warehouse at 11040 N. Lombard St. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the owner is the Port of Portland and the contractor is Fortis Construction Inc.

Building permit intakes for Oct. 26-Nov. 1, 2020

  • A $676,560 new construction permit is under review for a six-unit apartment complex proposed at 4811 N.E. 108th Ave. The applicant is Mike Montgomery of Portland. The owner is Hieu Dinh of Portland.
  • A $5.2 million new construction permit is being reviewed for a five-story wood-framed apartment building with 73 units at 5632 N. Montana Ave. The applicant is Carly Krotowski of Portland, the owner is Society Overlook LLC of Portland, and the contractor is Andersen Colas Construction LLC.

Facility permits issued for Oct. 26-Nov. 1, 2020

  • A $750,000 alteration permit was issued for a logistics facility tenant improvement at 7820 N. Leadbetter Road. The applicant is Adam Fischer of Mackenzie; the owner is the Port of Portland, leased to Bybee Lake Logistics CNTR LLC; and the contractor is Perlo Construction LLC.
  • A $3,285,515 alteration permit was issued for tenant improvements at Kaiser Permanente, 500 N.E. Multnomah St. Work includes demolishing walls, voluntary structural enhancements, new offices and more. The applicant is Nicole Bekken of Interior Architects PC, the owner is Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Northwest, and the contractor is Fortis Construction Inc. Also, a $495,000 alteration permit was issued for mechanical work; Total Mechanical Inc. of Camas, Washington, is the contractor.
  • A $750,000 permit was issued for alterations for a first-time tenant at 1107 N.E. Ninth St. Work includes new walls, studio rooms, a break room and a laundry area. The applicant is Michael Yelton of Banyan Construction Services of Brownsburg, Indiana; the owner is AAT Lloyd District LLC of San Diego. Banyan Construction is the contractor.

Facility permit intakes for Oct. 26-Nov. 1, 2020

  • A $750,000 permit is under review for tenant improvements for Cigna at 121 S.W. Morrison St. Work includes new walls, offices and conference rooms. Lauren Konopka of Hengst Streff Bajko Architects in Cleveland is the applicant, and Terrace Tower USA Portland Inc. is the owner.
