  • Design advice has been requested for a 16-story, 340-unit multi-dwelling residential building on Southwest Salmon Street. The building would include 408 below-grade parking spaces with no visible parking from the outside. The garage entrance and exit would be accessed on Southwest Main Street at level 2. The lowest garage level would connect to the existing Multnomah Athletic Club parking garage across Main Street via a new tunnel to be approved via the Major Encroachment Review process. Level 2 would contain residential trash and loading spaces, residential units and wrapped parking. The parking would ramp up to level 4 and be wrapped by residential units and the secondary residential lobby at level 3/4 (double height). At level 5 there would be a shift to an L-shaped layout of residential units with an outdoor plaza, which may also include stormwater facilities. The L shape would run up to Level 15 and then step back at Level 16 to allow for a rooftop amenity space above the building’s southeast wing. The owner is Francis Dardis of Ankrom Moisan Architects, and the property owner is MAC Block 7 LLC.
  • An application for early assistance is pending for construction of a new hillside home and ADU access at 2985 NW Luray Terrace. The applicant is William Neburka of Evident Architecture Office, and the property owner is Tee Wan.
  • An application for early assistance is pending for a new 30-unit apartment building at 5327 E. Glisan St. The applicant is Josef West of West Architects Inc., and the property owner is 53G LLC.
  • An application for early assistance is pending for a new 30-unit apartment building with inclusion housing at 2111 Rosa Parks Way. The applicant is Josef West of West Architects Inc. and the property owner is Oregon Homeworks LLC.
  • An application for early assistance is pending for an addition to an existing 3,260-square-foot residential triplex at 1736 N.E. Schuyler St. The proposal is for demolition of an existing garage to make room for a new three-story, approximately 2,196-square-foot triplex.
  • A pre-application conference is being sought for a new six-story mixed-use building at 1500 N.E. Sandy Blvd. The building’s ground floor would have 16,139 square feet of leasable retail space, including a grocery with back-of-house loading space, residential loading and trash, a residential lobby, and a vehicular access ramp to the below-grade parking garage. The garage would have one level of parking dedicated for grocery use and another level dedicated for residential use on the second platform. There would be a total of 181 parking stalls. The five floors of housing would have 130 units. Stormwater would likely be treated via a rooftop eco-roof.
